A ticket purchased by an individual in Israel who is a "disabled person", a "senior citizen" or a "new immigrant" in a "long-distance sales transaction" according to the definitions of these terms as set out in the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 1981, may be cancelled by notice in writing:
- Within four months of the date of purchase or of receipt of a document containing the details listed in article 14C(b) - whichever is later; and
- At least seven days, not being days of rest, before the date of departure.
This will apply solely on transactions which included a conversation between the dealer and the consumer (including a conversation by means of electronic communication). In such case, the cancellation fee shall be equal to 5% of the price of the ticket or NIS 100, whichever is lower. Otherwise cancellation fees as per fare rule will apply.
Notice according to the Aviation Service Law
In case you purchased KLM flight tickets for flight to/from Israel, between March 1, 2020 until November 30, 2020, and the flight was cancelled by us, you are entitled to receive refund of consideration within 90 days of the scheduled date or on October 1, 2020 – whichever is latest.
Please be advised that in case you purchased your flight ticket via a travel agency, your consideration is at the agency disposal; for any further questions, please contact your travel agency;
